Growing Up

The other day Jessie, Lauren, and I went to the playland at the mall. There was a steep, slippery bridge leading up to a mountain with slides coming down. It was pretty hard to get up it, so Jessie helped the kids. When she sat down to rest, Max tried to go up the bridge alone. He called out, "Jessie, help!" every few seconds until he realized he had made it to the top all by himself. He was so excited he couldn't stop yelling, "I did it! I did it! Yea Mommy!" and clapping. It was so funny!

Safety Measures

Ryan's school had a group trying to prevent brain injuries in children come down and sell kids' bike helmets for really cheap. We recently got Max a tricycle, so we bought one just Max's size, or so the package says.

I think I see some similarities, don't you?

Funny Guy

Here's some pictures of Max over at Jessie's house the other day.

He's decided he prefers to watch TV at Jessie's in this strange position. He does it all the time. I wonder why he likes it.

More Easter Pics

Here's some pictures of the kids on the grass after church.

Max falls down a lot, but he doesn't like to touch the prickly grass with his hands, so he waits like this for someone to come and get him!

Here they are doing what they do best!

It's a Girl!

Ryan and can hardly believe it, but we are going to have a girl! Here's a picture from our ultrasound yesterday. With all of Ryan's experience with his siblings as babies, he says he has never changed a girl's diaper, so this will be new for all of us. Let the shopping begin!
