Seven Months Old
I can't believe Leo is 7 months old all ready! He is still 90% for height and 50% for weight. He has 2 teeth and is starting to sit by himself. Here he is after church.

Happy Halloween!
Our first Halloween in Indiana has been a fun one! Here's some of the highlights.
Here we are just before the ward party. We were lucky enough to have Mom and Lauren visit just before Halloween, so they all came to our ward party. That's Ryan dressed as 70's era Greg. Linda made Max and Evie's costumes this year and they were amazing!
Trick-or-treating for the whole city was officially from 6-8 pm on Saturday the 30th. I've never heard of anything like that before, but it sure was convenient! Here's part of our group going around the neighborhood.

Pumkin Carving
Linda and the kids threw a little Halloween party complete with finger shaped sandwiches, swamp juice, and ghost musical chairs!

First Day of School
My Kinda Town
Over Labor Day we went sightseeing in Chicago. We had a great weekend filled with Italian beef and sausage sandwiches (amazing) and nature. Chicago has all sorts of fun, free places to visit. First we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo.

Then we stumbled across an interesting statue in a park.

We also went over to the Conservatory, a beautiful Victorian-era botanical garden. Here are the kids admiring the sausage tree.

Fernwood Botanical Gardens
The kids and I decided to take a little trip to Michigan to see the Fernwood Botanical Gardens. We had a lovely afternoon looking at plats, flowers, and bees. It wasn't nearly as spectacular as Longwood Gardens, but we still had fun. The kids especially loved the little railroad garden. Here is Evie sitting in front of the miniature "Golden Dome" of Notre Dame.
