Stress Relief

Jessie and Mike and jack are FINALLY home from the hospital! We decided to celebrate by playing with phony mustaches. The best part of these are that they each have a name.

Here is "The Smarty," "TheScoundrel," and "The Rogue."

'The Bandit"

"Natural Woman"

"The Cassanovas"

Rip-off Post

I totally stole this off of Lauren's blog, but it was so funny I wanted to post it for Ryan's family and any friends who don't read Lauren's blog to see it too! Here's what Lauren said about this picture:

"I've been watching my nephew Max while while my sister Sarah is in Pennsylvania, and we've been having a great time! The other day I was just planning on putting Claire in the tub, but by the time I got her undressed Max had completely stripped down and was halfway in. Molly didn't want to be the only one left out, so in they all went. Claire immediately dove for Max's package, but before I could resolve the situation Max yelled "Hey! Don't touch my privates!" It actually took because I didn't have to stop Claire's wandering hands after that."

Baby love

Since I've been in Pennsylvania, I've been amazed at how much Jessie's kids love babies (as opposed to a certain 2 year old who shall remain nameless)! They've been so nice to Evie and shared their toys and everything. Here's a picture of Colin tickling Evie's toes. Of course, when the camera came out Colin stopped, but you can tell Evie wants more!

What an artist!

For those of you who don't know, my sister Jessie's baby Jack (7 months) contracted Infantile Botulism. It's been pretty scary and he has been hospitalized for about a month. It looks like he's going to be fine and hopefully coming home from the hospital soon. Right now Evie and I am in Pennsylvania taking care of her kids while she stays at the hospital. I wanted to post this awesome picture of my family that her daughter Amelia drew. That's me on the top, and Evie next to me, than Max and Ryan below. And those aren't earrings, they're ears! Jessie's kids are so cute and funny that its great to spend time with them, even in these unfortunate circumstances.

Forest Lakes

We took a little trip up to Fest Lakes with my parents to play in the snow. It was so beautiful! But it was also nice to be able to drive home and warm up!

Here's Max's first time peeing in the snow. I guess it's a boy thing.

Here's Max eating snow - nowhere near where he peed of course.

6 Months!

I can hardly believe it, but Evie is almost six months old. Here are a few pictures of her recent accomplishments.

This is her enjoying her first real apple in a baby feeder - very serious business!

This was her first adventure in Mom's bouncer, which she loved despite the look on her face in this picture. Ryan insisted we try it out even though I really thought she was too small for it, but I guess she's just older than I want to accept. What a fast six months!
