the Real Santa

We went to see Santa at the mall today. It was so fun! After obsessing about Santa for months now, I guess Max was just surprised to meet him in person! He was completely frozen. He wouldn't talk or smile, just stare! Oh, well. At least he didn't cry!

Temple Lights

We went to see the lights at the temple and had a great time. It was so beautiful. Max loved the lice (lights) and tees (trees). It was pretty chilly, so we got to break out the cold weather clothes. Max's mittens don't actually have a place for your thumbs. Jessie says that makes them officially socks!

News, news, news!

Well, we have lots of news! First of all, I'm pregnant! I am about one month behind Jessie, and five months behind Lauren, so next year dinner at Mom's house will be insane! Also, we bought a house! Below is an artist's depiction of it. It will be done around October. We are so excited about it! Now we will have a place for the new baby.

Handyman

Max just started playing with an old backpack and some tools that Ryan had when he was little. I'm not sure how he know what to do with the tools. It's not like Ryan ever fixes anything!

Santa Love

The other day at a white elephant party, Ryan and I got a garden gnome. Max believes it is Santa Claus and he plays with it all day everyday. He reads to it, talks to it, kisses it. It makes me very jealous. It's bordering on idol worship. Good thing he's not accountable for his sins yet.

Finger Lickin' Good

I haven't posted in a while, so I'll try to make up for it in the next few posts. Here's some pictures of Max enjoying his breakfast. He liked it so much this day, he licked the bowl clean. I am an amazing cook! Actually it was just yogurt, wheat germ, and applesauce. Incidentally, I can't figure out why everything I type is underlined. It's embarassing. If anyone has any tips I would appreciate it.
