Sharing Time

Since Evie was born, Max has gotten really possessive of anything and everything. His favorite word is MINE. For instance, he points to my toes and says, "MY toes." The nursing pillow is one of his latest acquisitions. Yesterday, he decided to let Evie sit on it with him, but make no mistake, that nursing pillow is HIS.

Oh, there is the cherries outfit! I love it! Max's face is so expressive, and he does everything with a grin! Colin has been doing that lately, too, and he doesn't really have Max's excuse. Our new baby didn't mess with his life too much!

Oh, dear, the whole "everything's mine" catastrophe! Grrr...yep, we're still dealing with that with Azure BUT she has gotten much, much better at it (if that gives you any hope)! We taught her a couple of months ago that if she wants something that Skyla is playing with that she has to offer Skyla a TRADE for something equally fun and that is working pretty well. Also, a friend of mine told me that with her kids (she has a 2 year old and 6 month old) that she tells them that EVERYTHING in their house is EVERYONE'S and nothing is just "his" (the two year old) except his special blanket and his most favorite bear but other than that, even down to his clothes, are the "family's" and she said that that works really well for them. We've been starting to try to phase that terminology in with Azi slowly but surely...I'll let ya know how that turns out. :)
