Bath Buddies

Evie and Max are finally starting to become friends, not great friends - but at least not enemies. They are sharing a room now, and I think it's helping. In this picture Evie is still toothless. Her bottom teeth just broke though, so our days of gummy smiles are almost over. Sad! I'll post pictures of her new smile soon.

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter! We've had a lovely weekend. We got to spend a little time at my Dad's new cabin in the forest. It was beautiful and the kids had so much fun in the snow. Also, we went to church with mom and dad this morning and it was fun to show off the kids' new Easter clothes.

Gospel Teachings

I have an egg carton with plastic eggs in it and each egg has an scipture in it to help you teach your kids about Easter. We opened the first one today, and I tried to explain the scripture to Max by saying, "Jesus takes our sins." His response was, "Is Jesus going to take this skull eraser?" (It's his favorite.) I guess he thought I was saying, "Jesus takes our things." My attempt at making Easter more religious is working well. So far the Easter bunny brings baskets and Jesus takes our things!

Nothing too exciting...

We've mostly been just hanging around lately, but I have a few pictures from the last few weeks that I wanted to post.

Evie's getting better at sitting and rolling and now she decided that she likes baby food. It feels like overnight she stopped being our newborn!


Here's Max running in the grass. He looks so happy. This kid loves to run!



The other day at Mom's house we found Max and Molly sitting together watching a movie. This looks staged, but its actually just spontaneous friendliness.

Talk about a bad hair day - she just woke up like this. I think she hides hair products in her crib for experimentation.

Usery Park

We were inspired by our friends the Richardsons to go on a little hike at Usery Park. Lauren and Claire met us there and we went on a nature walk with a guide. It was pretty warm, but still beautiful out there. Here's a few pictures of it. How do you like Max's tough guy face? It would probably be tougher if his hat wasn't way too small.
