Two Wonderful Months

Evie is 2 months old now and had her well baby check-up today. She weighs 11 pounds. She is in the 97th percentile for height and 50th for weight and head size. She is starting to smile now and is such a good baby. And yes, her hair looks crazy in this picture. And yes, it always looks crazy!

A Bridge to Somewhere

In our backyard we have a patch of grass on a hill surrounded by a "moat" of river rocks. While Greg was here he decided to make a little bridge to help Max get from the porch to the grass. Max loved helping Papa Greg and Uncle Jackie with his toy tools.

It was hard to get a picture of Max because he couldn't take his eyes off the bridge. It was love at first sight.

Here's Max and Greg on the carousel with their expertly coordinated outfits.

We had such a great time with Greg, Megan, and Jackie. We were sorry to see them go. Come back and visit soon!

Eve's Blessing

Today was Eve's blessing day! It was such a wonderful day for our family. After church, we had a little dinner at our house for the family who came to the blessing. It was so great to get together with everyone! Thanks to all of you who made it out! Unfortunately, I didn't get the camera out until the end of the evening and I was busy a lot of the time, so I didn't get pictures of everyone, but here are a few I did get.

Cruisin'

Ryan's dad, Greg (or Papa Gegg as he is called by some), is in town for Evie's blessing and Max loves hanging out with him! Here they are about to cruise the neighborhood.

Happy Days

Here's some random pictures from the last few days.

As many of you know, Max has taken over an empty cabinet in the kitchen. He likes to hang out in there, even though he has a full sized room down the hall.

The weather is finally nice enough to play outside. The kids had a great time on this little slide Ryan picked up at a garage sale.

Max and Molly like to pretend that the slide is a horse to ride. Molly got confused, and thought that Max was a horse to ride!

The kids were coincidentally dressed in matching clothes the other day, so I tried to get a picture of them together. This was all I could get before Max took off!

Here's Max enjoying a breakfast shake.

Little Pioneer Children

I bought Molly a pioneer hat at the Liberty Bell gift shop, and I bought one for myself too, for future Pioneer Day celebrations and working in the field on sunny days.

More Penn.

Here are some more pics from our trip to PA. Here's Jessie and Amelia spending a little quality time with Evie. Notice that Amelia is wearing her new mittens inside! She never wanted to take them off!
Here's mom with Jack (Jessie's baby) and Evie. They are 1 month apart.

Here's Mom and Evie enjoying a magazine together.

Jessie and I think it is so funny how even though we are twins, our babies are so opposite. Jack is almost bald, Evie looks like she's wearing a wig. Jack's fuzz is blonde, Evie's a brunette. Jack head is round, Evie's is long and pointy. Jack's features are large, Evie's are small. I always thought our kids would look very similar!
