Museum Time

When Mom and Dad visited, we headed up to Chicago to see the museum of Science and Industry and eat Chicago-style pizza. We had the best pizza I have ever eaten, but the museum was even more incredible. It was huge! There were actual trains, cars, airplanes and tornadoes inside, just to name a few. Here are some of the moments:

This shuttle actually went to the moon!

Here's Evie driving the sub.

This is the only German U-boat in the US.

Corn Maze

Mom and Dad came for a visit last fall. We went out to Amazing Acres for a corn maze and pumpkin picking. We had a great time!

Apple Picking

Today we went apple picking at a beautiful orchard with our friends Ben and Cindy, and we pretty much froze our buns off. But, we did get lots of lovely Jonathons and photos.

We even got a squash that looks like an apple!

New Weaponry

Ryan's brother Jason is back in Indiana for a while, and he is selling kids' play swords and armor. He made Max and Evie these amazing dress-ups.

Tae Kwon Do

Evie and Max started Tae Kwon Do and they are loving it! They are conveniently the only 2 kids in their class, and their teacher is really nice. Hopefully it helps them channel their aggression, and not enhance it!

Evie's Third Birthday

Evie turned three in August, and we had a busy day celebrating. In the morning we went to the zoo.

She rode a pony.

And a giant tortoise.

We went to the Stake Fair.

And the next weekend we had a joint party with Greg.

It was lovely!

Sidewalk Art

The kids had a lot of fun with sidewalk chalk this summer.

Drawing with it, and tasting it.
