Lovely Sunday

The weather has been so beautiful here. We eat outside almost every evening!

Here's a picture of the kids hanging out with their uncles and aunt after dinner.

Here's the kids in the backyard after church.

The Big Move

On July 31st, we moved to Indiana! My parents were good enough to help me out on the plane (Ryan came out a week before us to get things ready), and we had a lovely visit with them while they were here. Here's some pictures of our adventures.

On the way to our new home after the plane, we came upon Island Park - a park on an island in the middle of a river!

No visit from Dad would be complete without a trip to the train museum.

At least this time Mom found something she could enjoy too - dishes!

We also drove along the coast of Lake Michigan and shopped at the different beach towns. It was tons of fun. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Lately

Here's a few pictures of what we've been up to lately.

Hello Panaca!

We decided to take a quip trip to Panaca NV to visit Grandma and Grandpa Lane before we move. We had such a nice visit. Here's a picture of the kids helping Grandma Lane make her famous Brown Bobbies.

Grandma Lane took us on a tour of the town and we visited the cemetery to see where around 50 of Ryan's relatives are buried - some from the early 1800's! Here's Ryan and the kids by Grandpa Clark's grave.

Hair Adventures

Evie's hair is finally long enough to be curled! She hated the rollers, but loved the results!

Oops!

Here's a funny conversation Max and Mom had yesterday while playing with a shooting toy.

Max: Shoot me in the leg Grandma!
Mom: Here it comes!
Max: You shot me in the privates! You a crazy old girl.

Religious Teaching

Max and Molly had a funny conversation the other day at the splash park.

Molly: Why do you wear that hat to the splash park?
Max: Because it keeps water off of my face.
Molly: Who taught you that?
Max: Jesus taught me that!
Molly (In a super amazed voice): JESUS TAUGHT YOU THAT?!
Max: Jesus didn't teach me that, I just figured it out myself!
