I am so excited because Max drew his first identifiable person today - in classic toddler style. (That's his name on the right side too.) Isn't it awesome?!

Watch Out!

I know this is kind of a crazy picture of Evie, but it's the only one where you can really see her new teeth. Doesn't she look like she's ready to bite someone? She probably is - and it hurts!

Pool Time

Well I can't believe it, but its already too hot to play outside, so we got out our little pool and had our first swim of the season. I can't remember how we used to survive the summer without it!

SuperMax

I tried to find Superman pajamas without the built in six pack, but they don't make them!

Box a la Max

Today we decided to make a house out of a box. That's a Peter Pan hat over his face - he insisted of course! He decorated the house inside and out with his his two loves - his name and a Peter Pan hat.

5 Wonderful Years

This last weekend Ryan surprised me with a trip to San Diego for our 5 year anniversary. We had so much fun hanging out in our favorite city and visiting with Ryan's family. We got to see Ryan's sister Kim's new house and Ryan's mom was in town and was nice enough to babysit for us on the night of our anniversary so we could go on a date. We got to go to church with Ryan's sister Megan. We had so much fun.

Notice how dirty Max is! I think this was right after he ate a bunch of sand and spit it out on himself.

This is Max's cousin Azure. Pretty impressive family resemblence, eh?

Max really loves to spell his name so he was so excited to see it "big, big, big!!" as he puts it. We are starting a new fashion trend - pantsless. If you wear a jacket it really offsets the cold. Actually it was kind of cold that day so we didn't put him in his swimsuit, but his pants got soaked (of course) and we changed him shortly after this.
