Thanksgiving After Party

Here's some pictures of a little party we had at Dad's on the day after Thanksgiving. I didn't get very many pictures, but I did get a rare photo of Phoenix's newest rock star - Jean "Slasher" Gietz.

Indulge Me

OK - I realize that this picture isn't very funny or very good, but I think it's hilarious! I have to admit that every time I look at it I laugh. I guess I love that Max insisted that the bunny and the dog ride too. Dad is such a good sport!

Christmas Trees and Stickers

We decorated our Christmas tree! (I'm ashamed to say when - it was so early). Here's a picture of Max helping. He decorated the tree with ornaments and his stomach with pirate stickers. How festive.

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

Evie is starting to lose her hair. I'm so sad about it! Everyday I wake up and wonder how crazy her hair will look that day! But, she's starting to get a bald ring around her head, so those days will be over soon. Here's some recent pictures of her lovely locks.

This is Thanksgiving:

OK - I know there's no hair in this picture. It was just so cute I had to post it anyway.

Big Wheel Blunders

Poor Ryan had a terrifying experience the other day. Max loves to play on a Spiderman big wheel tricycle that we bought for him when he was a baby (you know how it is with your first one!). He can't really ride it yet, he can go forward a couple of inches and back a couple of inches, he mostly just pushes the buttons. Ryan was setting up shelves in the garage and Max was playing on the bike. All of a sudden Max calls out, "Daddy, Max go fast!" Then he starts pedaling like a pro and goes flying out of the garage into the driveway. At this point he starts picking up speed on the sloped driveway and yelling, "Whee!". Ryan is chasing him, but can't catch him. Max flies into the street and crashes into the curb on the other side laughing his head off, never suspecting that his life is in peril. Poor Ryan almost had a heart attack. It's a good thing we live on a pretty slow street!

Bumbo Bliss

We finally bit the bullet and bought Evie a Bumbo chair. She's pretty strong and likes to be in the action with the family, so we knew she'd love it. Max of course thought it was for him. Here he is showing her how its done.
